CYME 9.4r3 has been released and is now available for download (requires a valid maintenance contract for the CYME software). Besides the enhancements and fixes, this new revision includes:
A new profile database technology that is part of the CYME Steady State Analysis with Profiles – Multiprocessing module. The Time Series Database (TSDB) is a new generation of profile databases offering enhanced flexibility and improved performance. Optimized and designed to meet the modern requirements of the energy transition, the TSDB enables more efficient engineering analyses by modeling the dynamic behaviors of grid components through time-stamped data points.
Important notes:
-
The CYME Steady State Analysis with Load Profiles module– including the CYME Profile database – will be deprecated in the 2025 CYME software major release. Customers using this module must upgrade to the Steady State Analysis with Profiles – Multiprocessing module.
-
A data migration tool will allow transferring data from the CYME Profiles databases to the new TSDB. The Billing (kWh) data will not be supported by the TSDB.
For more information on the revision, you may consult the Readme file and download the installation package at https://my.cyme.com.
Installation packages for CYMCAP, CYMGRD and CYMTCC are also available for download.
